The mission of the Birmingham Zoo is to instill in its visitors and other interested parties an appreciation of wildlife that will promote the conservation of natural resources. Activities include wildlife shows, animal feeding, zoo keeper chats, a carousel, train, a children's play area, and more!

    There are plenty of activities to choose from at the zoo including:

    Giraffe Feeding Daily: 9:30am-11:30am; 1pm-3pm Cost: $3 (plus tax)

    Granny's Butterfly Garden Daily: 10am-4pm

    Red Diamond Sea Lion Splash Show Daily: 10am & 2pm

    Wildlife Shows at the Wildlife Stage Daily: 11am & 3pm

    Lorikeet Aviary Daily: 10am-4pm

    Pelican Feeding Daily: 1:15pm

    Children's Zoo Animal Demo Daily: 2pm & 3pm

    Boma Encounter Daily: 11am

    Predator Zone (Lion Training) Daily: 11:30am & 3:30pm

    Children's Zoo Keeper Chat Daily: 1:30pm
