Fed by a crystal-clear underground spring, the park's spring pool is the center of attention in this 103-acre park in southeast Alabama. Facilities include modern and primitive campgrounds, picnic shelters, tables, grills, comfort stations, and playground. Open year-round, Blue Springs has many options for outdoor exploration. Equipped with free wireless in the park office area, visitors can research the surrounding area. There are primitive and modern campgrounds, rental campers, fishing, picnicking and grilling. Visitors can reserve pavilion areas for larger groups, and enjoy the volleyball courts, softball and soccer fields. The highlight of the park are the Blue Springs themselves. The spring pumps 3,600 gallons of water per minute and the temperature of the water is 68 degrees year round. The spring is crystal clear with a sandy bottom and swimming is allowed at your own risk, no lifeguard is on duty. Come enjoy these relaxing springs and the many other activities possible here.

  • Camping

    Total of 50 modern campsites, seven of which have sewer hook-up. Fires allowed at each campsite. Each site has a picnic table and grill. Eight people are allowed per site.

    There is a small pond stocked with catfish and bream.

  • Picnicking

    Picnic tables and grills are located throughout the day use area and are available on a first come, first served basis.There are four pavilions available to rent.

  • RVing

    RV hook-ups are available.

  • Tennis

    Tennis courts are available.

  • Water Sports

    Swimming in the Blue Springs is encouraged!

Located six miles east of Clio in southeast Alabama. Head east on AL-10/Blue Springs St toward Shaw Street. Continue to follow AL-10 for 6.9 miles. Turn right at Blue Springs State Park.
