Visiting the region's national forests will be free Tuesday in honor of America's veterans, officials say. "The Fee-Free Day is an opportunity to get outdoors and appreciate the open spaces and national treasure of our public lands here in Southern California, while also honoring our country's veterans," said Recreation Officer Fran Colwell, of the San Bernardino National Forest.
