Park service to hold Amistad open house

The Amistad National Recreation Area, a National Park Service property on Lake Amistad, will host an open house to provide information on upcoming developments at the facility.

The open house is from 7 - 8 p.m. Thursday at the Del Rio Civic Center’s Kennedy Room, 1915 Veterans Blvd. in Del Rio.

Developments include a new visitor and administrative center and a new border security and law enforcement facility.
