Bear Spring Trail

This trail offers the opportunity to access Eagle Creek or to access the top of the Mogollon Rim through various other trails. It connects to the East Eagle National Recreation Trail.

Trail #19 starts out in ponderosa pine and mountain mahogany and drops to a pinyon pine and juniper woodland. An occasional Arizona black walnut can be seen in the canyon.

Even if you can't hike this trail, just a visit to the trailhead offers a spectacular view of Eagle Creek and the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation to the west.
