Four Wheel Drive Road leads ten miles from Tower Arch Road to Willow Flats Road. A four-wheel drive vehicle with high clearance is necessary to travel this rocky, sandy and sometimes steep road. Park authorities recommend visitors drive this road from its northern terminus to Willow Flats Road. Travel is not recommended during winter or periods of high precipitation. Check road conditions with a ranger before traveling on this route.

Directions

Directions from Main Park Entrance: Drive 16.7 miles northward along the Main Park Road to the Salt Valley Road. Turn left and drive northwestward on Salt Valley Road 7.7 miles to Tower Arch Road. Turn left and drive 1.7 miles to the northern terminus of Four Wheel Drive Road.
