To get to the seldom visited Klondike Bluffs area of the park, take the all dirt Salt Valley Road. It begins about a mile before Devils Garden area on the Arches main road. It is navigable by cars in dry weather, but not recommended if rain threatens. After 7.7 miles are two roads leading into the Klondike Bluffs area. The first is for 4wd drive vehicles. It runs about three miles past fins and spires to near Tower Arch. A short hiking trail there takes you 1/4 mile to the base of the 35 by 96 foot arch.
