Salt Valley Road Improved Road

Salt Valley Road leads ten miles northwestward from the main park road to the park boundary. The road has a gravel and dirt surface and is usually passable by two-wheel drive vehicles. It provides access to the little-used Klondike Bluffs area of Arches National Park, which includes the Tower Arch Trail and road. A four-wheel drive tour can be made by using Salt Valley Road in conjunction with Tower Arch Road and Four Wheel Drive Road. This road should not be attempted by two-wheel drive vehicles is precipitation is in the immediate forecast.
