Overview

Originally called Del Norte Park, Jacobs Park is the location of Elmer Dessens Field, which was developed with funding from the Arizona Diamondbacks. The park is also home to the Jacobs YMCA Center. This 49.22-acre park contains an accessible playground, a large portion of which is donated by funds from the Catalina Rotary Club. Across the street from the main park are the Ochoa Soccer Fields. Both sides of the park contain comfort stations and receive heavy soccer tournament usage as well as Little League play. The park is the home of the Amphi Little League. Features: Ramadas, picnic tables, barbecue areas, horseshoe pits, two tennis courts, softball fields, soccer fields, Elmer Dessens field, play pool with zero-depth entry and colorful play pieces (currently closed), accessible playground, and small dog park.
