TRAIL BEGINNING: 8,000 ft. Junction of Battle Park Road and West Tensleep Road.

TRAIL ENDING: 8,000 ft. Junction of Battle Park Road and West Tensleep Road.

HIGHEST ELEVATION: 9,900 ft.

ATTRACTIONS AND CONSIDERATIONS: Lily Lake Loop #2 attains an elevation of 9,900 feet on top of Bald Ridge. The Cloud Peak Primitive Area, much of the Tensleep Ranger District, and the Big Horn Basin are all visible from Bald Ridge. The trail follows the Soldier Creek drainage down to its intersection with the Battle Park Road. Road can be followed to Deer Haven Lodge. Like all the Lily Lake Loops, this trail is closed after April 1 to protect elk calving areas.
