Little Goose Area

Latitude, Longitude: 44.513033, -107.141676

Narrow rugged trails with some steep hills and one tricky stream crossing. Winds its way up and down hills, across open parks and through lodgepole pine stands. From the time you leave the Big Goose Road FDR 631 you can see the majestic Blacktooth Peak in the distance within the Cloud Peak Primitive Area. The steepest climb is found in the first two miles of the trail from Poverty Flats. Overall, this is a moderately difficult trail. Good ground clearance is a must. Very difficult when wet. Large 4 X 4 vehicles with campers should not be taken on this trail.
