Fee area, eight tent sites, two campsites (tent/auto/trailer), drinking water, toilets, fireplaces - uncut wood available, tables, no trailer disposal hookups.

Fishing is possible in Shell Creek. Adelaide Trail goes east and Trail 184 goes west. Shell Creek Campground is less than a mile to the west and Ranger Creek Group Picnic Area is available for day use.

Shell Falls and Shell Canyon are located on State Highway 14 (Bighorn Scenic Byway). Shell Falls has a viewing platform and there is an information and sales area, displays and interpretive trail. Shell Canyon is a narrow gorge that winds through mountain terrain to Big Horn Basin (where bighorn sheep can sometimes be seen).
