This route leads almost two and a half miles northward then westward from Chesler Park. It parallels Elephant Canyon as it winds through spires and around fins along the slickrock. The route leads one and a half miles northward before turning southwestward towards Devils Kitchen. The track ends at Devils Kitchen Camp on a bend of the Elephant Hill four-wheel drive road.

Directions from Needles Visitor Center: Follow the main park road to Squaw Flat Campground. Bear right onto Elephant Hill access road and follow that 2 miles to the trailhead. Walk southward from the trailhead then westward, crossing Elephant Canyon to meet the southern terminus of the Devils Kitchen Trail 2.7 miles from the Elephant Hill Trailhead.
Directions from Elephant Hill Four-Wheel Drive Road: Drive past the Elephant Hill Trailhead on Elephant Hill four-wheel drive road 3.5 miles to Devils Kitchen backcountry camp. The trail leads eastward from this campsite.
