Hogback Trail (a.k.a. Murphy Trail) follows a wash then plunges over the mesa rim steeply down to the desert basin of the White Rim mesa. At the 1.5 mile mark, the trail branches, each leading to different points on the White Rim Road. Go down one and return on the other to create a semi-loop.
