This route can be accessed from Alcove Spring Trail at the confluence of Trail and Taylor Canyons. Follow Alcove Spring Trail northward from Upheaval Dome Road. The trail descends into Trail Canyon and follows that drainage approximately six miles to the mouth of the canyon. At this point the trail forks with the route to Moses and Zeus leading eastward (right).
Cross Taylor Canyon and begin ascending the northern bank of the drainage. The grade is relatively level for the first quarter mile. After this point the route begins to ascend steeply toward the base of the two spires. The route forks forming a loop that circles the base of Moses and Zeus.
