The Statue of Liberty’s Crown Reopens After Yearlong Closure

The welcoming beacon of the New York Harbor, embodying freedom and democracy, closed her doors the day after her 125th birthday last year, and will reopen just in time to celebrate her 126th.

The Glen Canyon area is the main attraction of Page, AZ. From the Glen Canyon National Recreation Center, you can book rafting trips and other water sports, canyon tours, and other outdoor adventures. Other places of interest in the area include: Antelope Canyon, Rainbow Bridge, Glen Canyon Dam, Vermillion Cliffs, Wahweap Marina, and the Hanging Garden-Chains area.

The Horicon Marsh auto tour is a 3-mile, self-guided route in and around the Horicon Marsh. It is open year round, and the visitor center is open monday through friday from 7am-4pm. For more info, please visit http://www.fws.gov/midwest/horicon/events.html
