That is a question that has more answers than the Internet can provide : )

Our site's Yellowstone Pages has a "things to do" section that is fairly consistent with most people's top interests.  You can also visit the West Yellowstone Chamber site for more insights.  Definitely hit the IMAX theater in West on your way into the park (if you head in that direction!)

The only lodging in the park is in Kantishna, located at the end of the park road, 90 miles from the entrance. These privately-run facilities are open from early June through mid-September.

To get a run-down of the lodging facilities in Kantishna, check out our Denali Lodging & Dining page. It also provides links to find more information about hotels located outside of the park.

Bryce and Zion both offer shuttle options so you don't need to take a car everywhere in the park. Check out this article for more information on the shuttles, with links to the official NPS sites with more detailed information. Check it out:  http://www.ohranger.com/valley-forge/news/2011/explore-national-parks-taking-shuttle

The Bryce Shuttle stops major destinations, such as: Ruby's Campground, Bryce Canyon Visitor Center, Bryce Point, Inspiration Point, Sunset Point and Bryce Canyon Lodge. For more information, visit http://www.nps.gov/brca/planyourvisit/shuttle.htm

Visit this site for more Zion Shuttle: information: http://www.nps.gov/zion/planyourvisit/shuttle-system.htm

The pass admits the pass holder/s and passengers in a non-commercial vehicle at per vehicle fee areas and pass holder + 3 adults, not to exceed 4 adults, at per person fee areas. (children under 16 are admitted free).

Enjoy your visit and please don't forget to wear your seatbelts!!

Check these folks out...  Not sure of your season, but seems to be a fairly standard set of rates for reputable outfits.

Flight costs vary depending on many factors (season, company...).  Most flights will depart from Fairbanks.  Here is a helpful website that can direct you to different air taxis and options:  http://fairbanks-alaska.com/air-transportation.htm

This kinda of information changes frequently, so my advice to you would be to ask the visitor center at the park.  They can be reached at 209-372-0200.

There are not many images of the switchbacks, but if you are interested in the Zion Canyon Tunnel click here. The National Park Service offers loads of information on the tunnel because of how narrow it is. Most large RV's and busses have to be escorted through as NPS closes traffic in one direction. The route is most scenic, and I highly recommend it if you are not in a rush to get to the park. During the summer months, there can be delays as you approach the park from Route 9.
