Ranger-led program schedules are available online. You can find the fall schedule here. The winter schedule is not available yet, but you can view last year's schedule as an example.

If you have more questions, we suggest contacting Yellowstone National Park.

That is a question that has more answers than the Internet can provide : )

Our site's Yellowstone Pages has a "things to do" section that is fairly consistent with most people's top interests.  You can also visit the West Yellowstone Chamber site for more insights.  Definitely hit the IMAX theater in West on your way into the park (if you head in that direction!)

The only lodging in the park is in Kantishna, located at the end of the park road, 90 miles from the entrance. These privately-run facilities are open from early June through mid-September.

To get a run-down of the lodging facilities in Kantishna, check out our Denali Lodging & Dining page. It also provides links to find more information about hotels located outside of the park.

Check these folks out...  Not sure of your season, but seems to be a fairly standard set of rates for reputable outfits.

Considering that Death Valley is the largest park in the lower 48 states, I would always recommend that you stay longer! There is a lot of park to be seen in such a short period of time, and Death Valley has a lot to offer whether you are auto-touring or hiking. Just remember that there is a vast range of temperatures throughout the park, so be sure to being layers for chilli desert nights!

Our favorites are the Salt Flats, Racetrack Playa, and the Dunes. With three days you may have time to see them all!

For more on things to do in the park, visit our page on Death Valley here.
