Hi,
Thank you for your question!

Glacier National Park is an ideal place to view wildlife year round. However, if you’re looking to see some of the rarer species, or just especially active wildlife living in Glacier’s wetlands and forests, May or June would be your best bet.

Hope you have a wonderful visit,
Sarah

Hi,

Thank you for your question! Currently, it is possible to drive from Glacier to Waterton. The parks are connected, but one must go over Canada’s border to do so. Bring your passport!
Here are some links about Going to the Sun Road and Waterton-Glacier: https://www.nps.gov/glac/blogs/exploring-waterton-glacier-international-peace-park.htm

Wishing you a great park visit,

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out to us! To answer your question, if you're looking for a place to stay to see the sunrise and sunset at The Grand Canyon, we'd recommend three places. South Rim (Grand Canyon Village open all year), Phantom Ranch (at the bottom of Grand Canyon - open all year), and/or North Rim (May 15th through October 15). Just depends on the time of year you're planning to attend. For more information click here: http://www.nps.gov/grca/planyourvisit/eatingsleeping.htm.

Enjoy your adventure.

Best,
