The Corps' Clendening Lake was constructed primarily for flood control, recreation, fish and wildlife management. Clendening Lake has been retained in a natural setting with no commercial development except the marina. Recreation facilities are operated by the Muskingum Watershed Conservancy District (MWCD). Golden Age and Golden Access passports are not honored at MWCD facilities.
