Winter Camping
Starting November 1, 2008 the only loop open for camping will be D-Loop (sites 154-197). D-Loop will be on a first- come, first- serve basis. Camping reservations are not accepted during the winter season for these sites. D-loop is a full service camping loop (sewer, electric and centrally located water). The water hookups will be turned off October 15, 2008. The RV dump station will remain open year round for potable water and emptying holding tanks. The winter camping fee will be $18.00 per night plus a daily $6.00 vehicle park pass. D-loop has restrooms, showers and laundry facilities which will remain open through the winter camping season. All loops will reopen for camping April 1, 2009. Reservations for camping at Chatfield may be made up to six months in advance.
