Mueller State Park is located in Big Game Unit 581. There are 800 acres adjoining the Dome Rock State Wildlife Area open for hunting during designated seasons established by the Colorado Wildlife Commission. If you are planning a hunting trip, keep in mind that you are responsible for becoming familiar with park hunting boundaries and park regulations. Firearms, bows and hunting access from Mueller State Park trailheads is allowed the Tuesday after Labor Day and continuing through the Friday prior to Memorial Day.

Hunters can reach the hunting areas from three trailheads (after Labor Day). All visitors must have a valid Colorado State Parks Pass. No other trails may be used to get to the hunting area. Visit the Mueller Recreational Trails Map for more information.
