State Forest State Park
Ranger Lakes Campground
This wooded campground offers 32 electric sites and is directly accessible from Highway 14 and within a short walk of Ranger Lakes fishing areas. The fishing area includes a fishing pier for people with disabilities.
Water, restroom facilities and a dump station are available nearby. *Bring a hose to access the water. A nature trail and the Gould Loop Trail are accessible from the campground. Interpretive programs are offered on some weekend nights in the campground amphitheater. Boats are not permitted on the Ranger Lakes.
? A parks pass is required on all vehicles.
? Campground users must have both a camping permit and a daily parks pass.
? Camping is only permitted on designated campsites.
? Please display the permit in the site marker located at each campsite.
? Minimum impact camping techniques are recommended at alpine lake areas.
? Camping isn?t allowed in the Lake Agnes Basin. Before camping in the backcountry, campers should check with a ranger or at the park office for information.
? A dump station is located in the Ranger Lakes parking lot. Please use this facility. It is illegal to dump waste and sewage, including dishwater, anywhere except in a holding tank.
? Horses are not permitted within campgrounds.
*Showers are not available within the State Forest State Park.
