Moqui Group Campground

This group site is in a beautiful setting of mature ponderosa pine, oak and quaking aspen. The elevation at the campground is 6970 feet. Mogollon Rim Ranger District acknowledges with gratitude the donations and support extended by the Winslow Kiwanis Club in the development concept and construction of Moqui Group Campground.

Location: Approximately 40 miles southwest of Winslow, 50 miles northeast of Payson and 70 miles southeast of Flagstaff

Attractions: Group camping, hiking, sightseeing, wildlife viewing, photography

Facilities: Moqui Group Campground is divided into three individual pods which can accommodate up to 50 people per pod. Facilities include potable water, garbage service, ground grills, large pedestal bar-b-que grills, picnic tables, horseshoe courts, amphitheater and restrooms.

Fees: Groups 10 - 50 people, 1 pod required: $50 per night Friday and Saturday Nights, $30 per night Sunday - Thursday
Groups 51 - 100 people, 2 pods required: $100 per night Friday and Saturday, $60 per night Sunday - Thursday
Groups 101 - 150 people, 3 pods required: $150 per night Friday and Saturday, $90 per night Sunday - Thursday

Reservations: Are required. Reservations may be made through the Blue Ridge Office and are accepted by phone or in writing after January 1st each year.

No utility hookups or dump station.
Pets must always be contained or on a leash.
No horses allowed in the campground.
Licensed off-road vehicles may be used only for entering or leaving campsite.
14 day stay limit.

Our Group Use Campgrounds are part of the Recreation Enhancement Act that allows the Mogollon Rim Ranger District to use 95% of the fees collected for that site's maintenance and improvements. These sites are ideal for family reunions, company picnics; youth group outings and various social functions requiring single or multiple day/night use.

From Flagstaff drive 55 miles south on FH 3 (Lake Mary Road) to AZ 87 at Clints Well. Turn left and drive approximately 9 miles to milepost 298.8. Turn right on FR 138 and drive about one mile to the campground.
