Cottonwood Springs Lake
Overview
The Cottonwood Springs Dam was built to lower flood damages in the Fall River Basin. It is found 5 miles west of Hot Springs on U.S. Highway 18 and nestled in the southern Black Hills. Nature lovers flock to this area to enjoy hiking, primitive camping (no hookups), fishing, and picnicking.
