Overview

Bennett's Pond in Ridgefield, CT is a hidden treasure just two minutes away from Route 7, in which you will find both gradual and sick climbs. Slick single track combined with very technical trails along the water. Following the white trail connects to even further miles of trail, including the epic Ives Trail that goes from here, through Pine Mountain State Forest and onto Tarrywile Park in Danbury.

Description: 460 acres, mixed hardwood forest, pond and wetlands. Access: Main parking area on Bennett's Farm Road off of Rte. 7 Activities: biking, hiking, hunting

    Mountain biking the trails is a great way to get in some technical training and see the beautiful scenery.

    Bennets Pond offers excellent hiking with well marked trails and awesome rock formations. Bennetts Pond trails connect with the Lake Windwing, Pine Mountain and Hemlock Hills trail systems.

  • Hunting

    Bow hunting is allowed within restricted areas.

Driving

Get on Route 7 and Bennett's Pond Road is on your right a few miles south of Danbury (on your left if you're traveling north on Route 7). A short distance up the hill on Bennett's Pond you'll see the dirt parking lot and large wooden sign for Bennett's on the right side of the road.
