This Park was once the location of the first house constructed in the Town of Winsted. The rolling, open land was formerly known as Hall Meadow after the adjacent Hall Brook. John A. Minetto State Park is a four season fun spot. The park offers fishing and swimming areas, as well as sports fields, picnic areas , trails for hiking and wintertime cross-country skiing. Pets on a leash are permitted and camping is allowed in this area.
