Overview

Minnie Island is the smallest State Park in the state at only .88acres. It is located in Gardner Lake in southeastern Connecticut. Split by the Salem/Montville town line, it escaped mention (and taxation) in the land records of both towns until 1925 when a Public Act made the island a State Park.
