Overview

Pomeroy State Park is undeveloped and unmarked. It was once the estate of textile mogul Charles Pomeroy. The site includes 90 acres but parking is limited to the road side. The Park is located in eastern Connecticut is approximately a 45 minute's drive east of the state's capital city of Hartford.

Connecticut's State Parks and Forests are administered by the state's Department of Environmental Protection. Over 120 Parks and Forests have been designated by the DEP in Connecticut.
