Stillwater Pond State Park

Stillwater Pond State Park is one of Connecticut's newer State Parks. Connecticut's Department of Environmental Protection boasts over 130 state parks and state forests. This park is a reservoir in Litchfield County in the state of Connecticut. Anyone interested in fishing Stillwater Pond should consult with local guides and resources before heading out to fish.

Boating
The park offers a paved boat ramp for access to the beautiful Stillwater Pond. Boats with motors are not allowed unless it is an electric motor. Grab your paddle boat and head out onto the quiet, peaceful pond.
Fishing
Fishing is a popular and peaceful activity on the lake. Species you may find include, largemouth bass, yellow perch, and blue gills.

May is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. In the summer months at Stillwater Pond highs are usually in the 80'sF. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter months highs are in the 30's F, after the sun is down in winter time, temperatures at Stillwater Pond dip into the 20's F.
