Locate at Torrington; West Torrington and Torrington Quadrangles. There are 444 acres; floodplain and mixed hardwoods. Access off Newfield Road and parking available at the flood control dam at the southern end or near the gate at the northern end. Limited parking available along Newfield Rd.

Merge onto CT-8 N via the ramp on the left to Watertown/Torrington 19.3 mi 5. Take exit 44 for CT-202 toward Downtown Torrington/CT-4 0.2 mi 6. Turn right at E Main St/US-202 (signs for CT-4 E/CT-202 E) 469 ft 7. Sharp left at CT-4/E Elm St 0.7 mi 8. Slight right at Main St 0.5 mi 9. Turn left at Newfield Rd
