For Kids

Kids have more than they can shake a stick at when it comes to the activites and experiences that Cumberland Island has to offer.  Take a moment and learn how your kids can have fun while educating themselves in the island's vast history and culture.

Junior Rangers
An activity booklet for ages 6-12 can be picked up from a Ranger at either the Mainland Visitor Center, Sea Camp Ranger Station or Dungeness Dockhouse. Present the completed activity book to a Park Ranger to earn a Jr. Ranger badge and sticker.

Campfires and Crafts
The summer schedule also includes daily craft programs at 2:00pm at Sea Camp Ranger Station, and evening programs on Saturday nights at the Sea Camp Campground.

Educational Programs
A variety of educational programs are available for elementary, middle and high school students. Please call well in advance to schedule your ferry, and arrange the program.

Web Rangers
Educational programs for schools are given throughout the school year. Reservations are required. WEB RANGER – Be a ranger even if you are not able to visit a National Park. Log in and join the fun. Activities change from time to time.
