Currant Creek Reservoir
Overview
Currant Creek Dam and Reservoir, on Currant Creek, are features of the Central Utah Project, Bonneville Unit. Recreation management at Currant Creek Reservoir, Central Utah Project-Bonneville Unit, is under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Forest Service. Situated in a timber setting southeast of Heber City, at the 7,680-foot elevation, with a 300-acre surface area. Managed recreation season May through October. Moderate use. Fish species available are rainbow, cutthroat, and brook trout. Jimmies Point U.S. Geological Service map covers the area. Reservations accepted for certain campsites. Fees are charged. Fishing permitted below the reservoir. One loop of the campground is reserved for those camping with horses. Extensive horse/hiking trails run throughout the area. Mountain bikers can loop around the lake or else explore the surrounding dirt roads. A playground is available near the lake.

Campground offers tent and RV sites with exhibits, drinking water, restrooms, and boat ramp.
Fishing
The reservoir is stocked with rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout.
