Dankworth Village
Overview
Take a trip back in time and see how the Mogollon people became successful farmers in the southeastern Arizona, the Paleo-Indian (Clovis culture) hunters use stone-tipped spears and Cochise people hunt and gather throughout the year.
A Dankworth Village Teacher's Activity Guide (free to teachers) is available for the Dankworth Village. Dankworth also offers scenic hiking trails, picnic facilities, and restrooms as well as fishing in Dankworth Pond(An Arizona fishing license is required.). As you look toward Mt. Grahm, you can see the desert, oak woodland, and mountain zones.

Driving
Take Highway 191 south from Safford for 7 miles. Dankworth Ponds State Park sign will be on east side of road. Turn onto Dankworth Road to parking lot.
