Fall Line Sandhills Natural Area
Overview
This is a 876 acre Natural Area open to hunting seasonally. Pre-season scouting, hiking, picnicking, canoeing, and other recreational uses are allowed year-round, unless otherwise posted at the WMA check station or at a specific recreation site. However, horseback riding and bicycling are restricted to open, improved roads, designated trails or designated areas. Horse and bicycle trails and areas may be closed during certain hunting seasons to avoid user conflicts. Specific recreation sites can be closed as needed for management purposes by posting at the site. All WMA visitors are encouraged to wear hunter orange during hunting seasons. Refer to the annual hunting seasons and regulations to determine when specific WMA are open for hunting and what type of hunting is occurring.
Activities

Fishing
Unless otherwise posted, fishing is allowed on WMAs according to statewide regulations. A fishing license only is required to fish on WMAs. A WMA license is not required for anglers possessing a valid 1-day, Honorary/Disability, Sportsman or Lifetime License.

Hunting
Deer Archery/Either Sex: Sept. 11-Jan. 15. Tur ey Mar. 26-May 15. Small Game & Fur bearer s Aug. 15-Feb. 28. Fox squirrel hunting prohibited.

Driving
To East Tract: From the intersection of Hwy 96 and Hwy 19, go west 2.6 miles to Taylor County Industrial Park; turn right; kiosk is immediately on the left side of the road.
To West Tract: From the intersection of Hwy 96 and Hwy 19, go west 10.7 miles; turn left on Kel Foster Rd. At fork, bear right. Entrance is 1/4 mile on the left.
