Overview

This is a 15,800 acre Wildlife Management Area within the Chattahoochee National Forest open to hunting either sex of deer and bear using archery. There is also the option of hunting buck, bear, deer, turkey, small game, and furbearers with firearms. The area offers scenic landscapes for picnicking, hiking, camping, fishing, bird-watching, and horsebackriding.Trout are plentiful at Hood Creek, Walnut Fork Creek, and tributaries of each.

    Trout are plentiful at Hood Creek, Walnut Fork Creek, and tributaries of each. Only artificial lures are permitted while fishing in the Warwoman Wildlife Management Area. It is unlawful to possess any other type of bait on an artificial lures only stream.

DIRECTIONS FROM CLAYTON: Take US 441 north and turn right on Warwoman Rd.; go 3.5 miles to Finney Creek Rd.; turn left and go 0.2 miles to check station.
