These liner socks are slightly elasticized so that they hug the foot like a second skin and stay up at the ankle but are not too tight. My size 8.5-9 shoe size fit fine in the women's medium size. The attractive grey pattern on these liners makes them easy to find in the laundry. I will never buy a different brand!

The socks were great. Perfect as a liner in the cold weather but even better as a light weight sock in the spring.
