This allows for easy positioning of the straps around ankle protrusions etc. and also permits cranking one strap tight while leaving the other strap comparatively loose where it travels over a sensitive area. These parallel straps are continuous and actually pull through from underneath one side of the foot to the other such that the strap system anchors at one point allowing for infinite adjustment and eliminating the need for multiple buckles. The Chaco Men's ZX/1® Sandal also features the BioCentric™ footbed contour a platform that carries the seal of acceptance by the American Podiatric Medical Association for controlling pronation improving heel cushioning and increasing lateral stability.

The straps can free your foot in the open air as well as keeping it stable. The color and pattern is modern and beautiful. Vibram outsole is really good for you to protect the foot. I haven't used Chaco before but after this purchase I will recommend my friend to buy one if they need sandal.
