The Chaco Hipthong's soft polyester straps feel comfortable between the toes from the start and the instep strap with cinch buckle provide the secure fit absent from standard issue flip-flops. I've wore my sandals for about 3 weeks now. They are my first pair of Chacos and they are the most comfortable sandals I have ever worn for outdoor activities. I use them for long distance walking hiking and for just working in my yard.
