Wonders never cease but they do get better. 1000 cubic inches for exploring seven and more.

When basics matter most few pack designs are as elegant and straightforward as the DaKine Wonder Pack but straightforward doesn't imply barebones. This 1000-cubic-inch daypack features skateboard carry straps and an internal compartment for your sunglasses. Two side mesh pockets expand slightly to securely wrap around most water bottles and canned energy drinks. Whether you're taking stuff to work school or the local park down around the corner DaKine's Wonder Pack is sized right for the job. It's no small wonder.

I ordered this for my mate who is so into kit items and he mentioned he needed a daypack for the daytime trips. I am totally pleased with the daypack and hope he is too when I give it to him for Christmas.

and it's a good size too. I have the paris black one even though i am not your pink girl. Little pink poodles are better than huge pink flowers the other option i had at my local skateshop. And it's good for picking up groceries by bike travelling by train going to the gym and taking stuff to work too (I work in hospitals).

I got one for Christmas from my girlfriend and I have to say it's not only a nice looking pack but it's also very functional. I'm very impressed with the build quality. One thing I always do with new kit is checkout the stitching and this looks like it's been put together to last which is good for me because I need a pack that can withstand more than the odd knock and scrape my packs have to cope with mountain and forest hikes so they need to be strong. The bag itself is nice and thick so I should be ok for jagged rocks the padded back and shoulder straps feel cumfy. It's a great size for day hikes which is what I was after. the top pocket that's meant for a key and sunglasses is big enough for a mobile phone GPS and a headtorch. The main compartment holds my big fleece jacket gloves hat food box waterproofs first aid kit small radio and a chunk of foam mat to sit on. The two side pouches fit snug around my hexi water bottles. So that's a pack ready for a day hike. All I need now is to plan a couple of hikes and give it a proper field test.

It is very difficult to find ANY girl skateboard backpacks. This one (black stripe/blue floral) has just the right amount of femine decour a young girl needs. My daughter is 6 yrs. old so this packpack fits her perfectly with room to grow. Holds all her pads and helmet in the large compartment. The smaller glasses pocket has room for other things too such as sunscreen skate pass lip balm etc. She plans to use the same packpack for the school year too. We bought the light blue camelbak 750ml water bottle which fits perfectly in the side and matches.

I use this pack to keep my skateboard stuff organized and transport my board to parks and street spots. I also use it as carry case when I have to take documents to meetings. It's much better than a briefcase when traveling on a subway or in a cab.
