I'd initially ordered it just for the small lightweight pot for an ultralight backpacking trip and had planned on leaving the cup at home. After I got it I realized how much thought had been put into the design and was quite surprised/impressed by it. So much so that I sold one of my extra standard fuel stoves and bought a canister stove just so I could nest it inside of this pot as it was designed to do. Fantastic! One note I've been using the 110g snowpeak canisters which are smaller in diameter than the MSR canisters and so they don't fit "snug" into the pot. While I've not tried them I speculate that the MSR canisters would fit perfectly into the pot due to their larger diameter base. Overall this is a great kit that serves many purposes.
