A multi-sport performance hybrid the Nagevi XCR Trail Running Shoe for men is Garmont's best selling model. Fans of this popular shoe like it because of its comfort over a wide variety of activities anything from linking together three passes on an epic trail run to pounding the city streets on a snowy winter's day. Although plenty breathable for high intensity workouts and warm weather the Garmont Men's Nagevi XCR Trail Running Shoe is lined with a waterproof Gore-Tex® XCR® insert to fend off rain slush and puddle splashdowns. Underfoot the integrated G4 TrailSpeed outsole insole and midsole components deliver stability cushioning and comfort that together exceed the sum of each part. For example the compression molded EVA midsole does a fine job of cushioning but without the thermal plastic spine wrapped around the heel pad the shoe would not be able to resist pronation and disperse shock nearly as well. People often ask why the Garmont Nagevi XCR Trail Running Shoe for men has an angled front lace in the forefoot. The reason is quite simple but not immediately obvious because few if any other footwear manufacturers do this. The lacing is angled to cross the foot parallel to the flex line created by the toe joints. Therefore the lacing does not interfere with the foot's flex assuring comfort out of the box without unnecessary break-in time.

These kicks look good and are comfortable. I've only had them for one day and haven't taken them out on a trail yet but so far so good. They feel supportive and I'm sure they will hold up well for day hikes and the occasional overnighter.

Would not recommend this shoe.
Heel blew out in less than 6 months of average use.
Not a comfortable shoe to wear for long periods of time.
Very dissapointed in the shoe after payin 179.00$ can.
