However in case of a rescue situation where you need quick access to a knife this knife is easy to pull from the sheath and comfortable to grip in a wet & cold environment. This mid-sized knife is a favorite among commercial river guides. Molded friction release sheaths clip to a belt or the lash tab on your PFD. The River Runner™ incorporates a half smooth half serrated blade and a pointy tip for puncturing a broached boat.
