My only question when I purchased these was "When I pour something hot in this is it going to burn my hand?". My wife and I took these with us on a trip this weekend and to my delight the bowls worked admirably. Heat does come through the bowl when you pour boiling hot liquid in them but just enough to warm the hands. I was cooking in a blizzard so this was more than welcome. These things are easy to pack and super easy to clean.

I love this product! The bowl squishes into any little spot in my pack they nest if needed and can be turned inside to be licked clean. Why waist any of that strogenoff!The cup is a little small for my coffee but it works fine.
