After the glowing reviews of high quality merino wool as a base layer I took the plunge. Maybe it's just me but I thought the Woolies Crew was noticeably itchier and more abrasive than either Capilene from Patagonia or MTS from REI. Very disappointed. I wore it once and will try to get my money back.

These are great. I own a couple of the woolies and wear for all kinds for activities. I particularly like wearing them under a dress shirt in the winter. I don't find them itchy at all. I own other wool clothing that I will not wear next to my skin. Highly recommended.
