convenient
Family of four for four days through over 27 miles in yosemite, we really made good use of this filter. It was so nice to be able to pump water when our bottles got warm and we wanted cold water to drink - a luxury in the backcountry!

Easy to use.
While floating down the South Fork of the Flathead River in MT. I found using the Katadyn Hiker Pro very easy and fast to use. I have used other filters in the past but none were as easy.
