While I don't think these are the prettiest boots in the world they are super super comfy and really warm and I find I wear them all the time. In terms of design I am pretty certain the velco will come unstitched making repairs necessary before everything else wears out but well worth it if you live in the Northwest. The black color is a little too "I'm a ninja" for my taste though.

They are great boots for what I needed. My only complaints are that they are slightly hard to get on and off (but not too bad) and that they have an opening just below the ankle that can let water in if you're walking through a snow bank or puddle.

I got these in July so I haven't tested them in the snow or rain yet but they are very comfortable and easy to slip on/off without being too loose. I only wish they had Keen's more "heavy duty" tread on the sole. (That's the only reason I rated them 4* instead of 5*.) Typical Keen fit; which means a wider toe-box than most brands and I wear a 1/2-size larger than my typical size. I love the "Pinecone" color; a nice rich Cocoa brown.

these boots are great! the only complaint I have is that they don't have the arch support like my other keens. but very warm and cool-looking!
