Keen Women's Juneau Boot Keen: Women's Juneau Boot

Waterproof and lined with a warm Primaloft® lining that's comfort rated to -25F.

Get outside this winter in style in Keen's warm and waterproof Juneau shoe. Inside you'll find enough insulation to earn the Juneau a comfort rating of -25F but Keen keeps the profile light with a patented waterproof technology that guarantees no water penetration while allowing moderate breathable comfort. This means that you enjoy a little more agility with fewer ounces locked in around your ankles. Cinch up the strap and you're good to go the distance--whether it's down to the local ice sculpture festival or up the chair to the mountaintop restaurant.

Yes the boot delivers with warmth and style...However if you have touchy ankles (height) and the possibility of nuisance rubbing I do not suggest buying these.

I have very wide feet and found these boots wide enough for me. I do have some heel slippage but that may be because I tend to order a half a size larger than I need because of my width. Overall they seem to be a great winter boot and keens have been a godsend for my wide foot.

I'm also going to Rome in March (maybe I'll see the "other" Keen reviewer there by looking at her shoes!). I thought these shoes would be great for walking but I do have picky feet and a high arch. After awhile my feet begin to ache and my back hurts. The one strap on the shoe does not give nearly enough support. They are comfy for awhile but then my feet get tired and begin to hurt. There's no gettin' around it good support NEEDS laces to keep the foot stable and from sliding. I hope I'll be ok in Rome with these for now though it's all I have.

I ordered the Womens' Juneaus because I could not find Mens' Juneaus anywhere. These are my second pair. I bought the first pair about 6 months ago. They are about the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I wanted to make sure I had a pair for a long time so I started looking. I could not find any Mens' in size 6.5 so I ordered a Womens' size 9. They actually fit a little better because the 6.5 were just a tiny bit (not uncomfortably) snug. They are rated to -25F. They have been comfortable outside in Anchorage through mid January '08 but they are also not too warm to wear inside for working on concrete - where they are also very comfortable.

Very comfortable and stylish. I've received lots of favorable comments from friends. I'm going to take them to Italy in March they'll be great on rough streets and possible bad weather.
