Kelty Avery 1650 Backpack Kelty: Avery 1650 Backpack

Head for the hills for an afternoon or back to the campus library for a late night with this slim and lightweight Avery 1650 backpack from Kelty. Unlike a lot of daypack designs that only look tough enough for the trail the Avery 1650 backs it up with a rugged reinforced nylon ripstop fabric construction and alpine extras like gear daisy chains lash points a backcountry shovel pocket and an internal hydration pouch. The convenient front panel opens wide for easy access to the 1650-cubic-inch main compartment so you can quickly stow extra reading material and a spare insulated jacket or favorite fleece pullover. Inside you'll find a soft fleece-lined optics pocket to protect your sunglasses and a complete two-liter Taste-Free™ (no not tasteless) hydration reservoir with drinking tube and valve. The Kelty Avery 1650 goes the distance with functional features that surpass those other book bags that fray and fall apart outdoors. It also has a slim profile that won't mess up your balance so you can use it for skiing and snowboarding in mild winter weather conditions. If you mix your everyday commutes with afternoon wilderness excursions Kelty's Avery 1650 is versatile and durable pack that's perfect throughout the year.

Excellent backpack for dayuse on the trail. Hydration pack is done very well and easily pulls out if needed (going through airports). Rugged hardward detail with great pocket and compartment design. Super comfortable with straps that are easily adjusted throughout. I even dusted off the pack and took it on my last business trip. Love this pack and would highly recommend it for day use.
