La Sportiva N.A. Miura Climbing Shoe La Sportiva N.A.: Miura Climbing Shoe

La Sportiva's top-seller and one of the best for edging precision and a comfortable fit.

The sun will always rise in the east and the Miura will always be there to catch the first rays. Or at least as long as La Sportiva keeps making one of the best climbing shoes in the business. The La Sportiva Miura is the ultimate fusion of edging precision and comfort but if you liked this big wall shoe for everything that it did before you're going to love the new sensitivity. La Sportiva narrowed the Laspoflex midsole in the forefoot from 1.8 mm. all the way down to 1.1 mm. for almost double the tactile feedback. Feeling is believing but you'll love the additional confidence. Just like earlier incarnations this Miura features a quality 4-mm. XSV Vibram® sole that delivers superb friction without accelerated wear which in turn can save your upper body muscles a little energy. One thing to remember about La Sportiva is that the lasts run a little narrower than other climbing brands so keep this in mind when you're choosing your shoe.

I'm an exclusive sport climber and this shoe rocks the house for sport. I can count on one hand how many times I've come off a foothold. You think "no way is this shoe gonna stick here" and it does. I have a flat and wide foot and it filled the shoe nicely with your typical discomfort at first. I sized down 2 sizes from my street shoe as the sizing is way off. But once I found my match I was golden.

My favorite shoes to heelhook. The fit is perfect and my feet never fall out of the shoes. Very comfortable get the same size as you would get for Testarossas.

Exceptional all around shoe Image: 5 Stars

The Miura is the undisputed leader in the trad climbing arena. From hard moves on big wall routes to 80 foot cracks in the Basalt at the Lower Gorge of Smith Rocks... the Muira can be seen as a standard everywhere. I love how it makes little nubbins seem like ledges and my feet actually don't hurt when they are cammed into cracks. They are slightly stiff which makes longer days much more comfortable. The fit is comfortable and the performance is unbeatable for this type of lace up. One note the laces tend to wear out first but that is rather trivial. If you have any questions please let me know.

I had many climbing shoes but after using the Miura for two years (including one resole) I can say that my next pair will be a Miura. very comfortable but precise. Excellent friction great edging and good smearing. I feel safe on small holds and on slabs on short and hard sport routes and on long days. I am in love. Perfect show.
